ACHIEVEMENTS

In short span of time, Society achieved various targets/achievement:-

1. In the very beginning soil organized workshop at Barnoti on 09-08-2004 guide People and formed a committee for a Barnoti block.
2. SOIL organized BLOOD DONATION CAMP at DISTT HOSPITAL Kasthu on 25-08-2004. Which is sponsored by STATE BANK OF
   INDIA BRANCH COLLAGE ROAD KATHUA.
3. SOIL participated in a rally for PROTECTION OF ENVIRONMENT
   AWARENESS held at Lakhanpur on 28-08-2004
4. SOIL organized EDUCATION AWARENESS CAMP for slum
   children at Kathua on 18-09-2004. In which society donates book kits/
   fruits to 150 slum children.
5. Moreover society starts evening classes for slum children. The camp
   sponsored by CHENAB TEXTILE MILLS and MET TRADE INDIA
   LTD KATHUA
6. SOIL organized a function on INTERNATIONAL GIRL CHILD DAY
   on 23-09-2004
7. SOIL organized MEDICAL CHECK UP CAMP for expectant mother
   of labors at Kathua on 19-10-2004. Which is sponsored by STATE
   BANK OF INDIA BRANCH COLLAGE ROAD KATHUA.
8. The members of society also participated in SANGARSH
   COMMITTEE for women in DEGREE COLLAGE KATHLA on 04-11-
   2004
9. In the years 2005 soil organized an AWARENESS CAMP for legal rights for labors at Kathus on 02-01-2005.
10. SOIL organized an Awareness Camp/Rally on Labour Day (1″Mny
    2005 ) to aware the laborers especially women laborer for their
    constitutional rights who Working in the industrial area as well as in
    private sector.
11. On May 9, 2005 SOIL organized a Membership Camp.
12. SOIL organized an Awareness Camp toward the below Poverty line and
    marginally the poverty line Rural and Urban people about the Life
    Insurance Protection Commonly know as Janshree Police of LIC India.
13. SOIL constituted a survey on CHILD LABOUR in district Kathun we.f. 01-07-2005 to 21-07-2005.
14. Submitting a report as desired by Hon’ble Session Judge Kathua on behalf of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in connection with the steps taken by SOIL on “Child Labour and Women Empowerment”.
15. SOIL organized an Awareness Camp/Rally on Labour Day (19 May
    2006) to aware the labour especially women laborer for their
    constitutional rights who working in the industrial areas as well as in
    Private sector.
16. SOIL organized a general Medical Checkup Camp for laborers on
    June 10,2006 at industrial Area Kathua.
17. Son organized a workshop on Feb. 15-02-2007 of Bamboo
    Handicraft or changer to aware the blow poverty line and rural people.
18. A dancing school was opened 08-08-2007 at Balasharm and
    Nariniketan for entertainment of the residing students in these ashrams.
19. In Collaboration with State Social welfare Board, Saviour of Innocent
    Labour Society Kath, organized a 5-days Awareness Generation. Programme for rural women w. c. f. 23-08-2007 to 31-08-2007 over 40 women of the area participated in the camp.The said camp was attended by Sh. TarsemLal (Chief Managerof lead Bank),
    Development Manager of Nabard Sh. LR Dogra, Localofficer of Khadi and Village Industries Sh. SukhDev Singh, Sh. AshokKakru Manager-cum-Chemist, Sh. Ram Lal Trainer of Fruit and Preservation & Utilization and Trainer of Handicraft Sh. Kamal Singh, Dr.Bharat Bhushan Disit Panchayat Officer Kathua, Sh. Pankaj Kumar AnandBlock Dev. Officer, Kathua, Sh. Dhuni Chand Bhatti Distt. Social Welfare
    Oficer, Kathus, Ms. Sushma Gupta C.D.P.O. Kathua and Smt. Kamlesh Lakhanpuria Supervisor among those who visited as Guest Lecturer in the said camp in the respective days.All these guest belongs to various State Govt. Departments. Central Department as well as Nationalized Bank. They informed about the various Govt. Schemes for women empowerment.
    NGO (Spenk) and NGO (Women Era) of Kathua also attended the camp and
    they delivered a lecture on rights of women and enlistment of women and inspired the participants with his moral boosting speech and asked them to come out of the inbilations and blind superstitions for welfare of women and development of the Country.
    On 31-08-2007 a graceful valedictory was organized in which Arun Trisal General
    Secretary extended Vote of thanks to the special invitees participants, experts and prominent locals for their co-operation to organize the camp for the welfare of rural women and children.
